Hola. I’m Vicky, and I’m a writer. It took me 40+ years to actually claim that.

My hope is that you don’t need 40 years to figure out who you are. But if you do? Let’s at least make it entertaining.

The short version: Strategist. Scholar. Snarky GenX Latina from the NYC projects who lost her uterus, nearly lost her mind, and decided to document the whole unglamorous resurrection anyway.

The longer version: I’ve spent 15+ years establishing a body of work across media, entertainment, startups, and workforce development - NBC Universal, Vme TV, FIU’s Ratcliffe Startup Studio, NYC Small Business Services, the Latinista. I know how to build things. I also know how fast those things can fall apart when the person building them forgets to take care of herself.

Right now I teach at a transfer high school in the West Bronx during the week and spend the rest of my time in what I’m calling my season of renaissance - reimagining what it means to live, lead, and create as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman who refuses to shrink, play small, or let anyone else’s timeline tell her what’s still possible.

Healing isn’t linear. Midlife isn’t a crisis…it’s a reckoning. And if you need someone to sit in the complexity with you without rushing you toward a resolution that isn’t ready yet, I’m your bruja.

What you get here: Real insights, twice a week, no filler. The unglamorous, consequential work of becoming - on your own terms, in real time, without a safety net or a soft place to land.
